Oregon Peer Training & Innovations Center

OPTIC provides training services and continuing education units (CEU) for peer support specialists and those interested in becoming certified, wherever they may be. 

Peer Wellness Specialist Training

The Peer Wellness Specialist (PWS) training is composed of 80-hours of virtual classroom instruction and some out-of-class assignments. The role of the PWS is to provide peer support, encouragement, and assistance to address physical and mental health needs. 

Online CEUs

We provide high-quality online courses for peer workers that can be used towards the CEU requirement for recertification, as well as professional development.
